Crawford County A.B.A.T.E.

Crawford County Chapter of ABATE of Illinois monthly meeting was held April 14 at the Robinson Bowling Center.  We had 39 members in attendance and what a great meeting we had.   Meetings are held the second Tuesday of each month at 7:00pm and they are moved from place to place to accommodate our members who live in Robinson, Oblong, Lawrenceville, Olney, etc.   Next meeting is May 12 at Main Street Pub in Robinson. They will be serving tacos, etc. so everyone plan to be there.  The meeting is held upstairs so we have the place to ourselves. 

We need the ride flyers done at least a month ahead if possible so that we can advertise the rides better.   I didn’t even get flyers for a couple of our rides last year.   If I have them a month ahead then I can get them in the newsletter and you will all know what is happening. 

The helmet law was defeated 42/14 for this year. 

A hat was passed to collect money for donations to Ben Miller, 19 year old local young man severely injured in a motorcycle accident, and Olivia Brinkman , 6 month old daughter of Robinson Police officer Floyd Brinkman born with severe medical problems.
