Crawford County A.B.A.T.E.

Crawford County Chapter of ABATE of Illinois monthly meeting was held May 12 at the Main Street Pub.  We had 30 members in attendance.  So sorry Scott and I couldn’t be there but we had a school awards thing to attend.  Hope everyone enjoyed the tacos.  Next meeting is June 9 at the Palestine Eagles. 

We need the ride flyers done at least a month ahead if possible so that we can advertise the rides better.   If I have them a month ahead then I can get them in the newsletter and you will all know what is happening.   If you can’t get a flyer made call me with the information so that I can get something made up.

Just a note, the Jimmy Miller Memorial Ride did actually happen even with the lovely rain.  There were 34 riders which I think is great considering the weather. 

The Illinois State Police are really working hard on keeping the roads safe.  They are spot checking for drivers license violations, making sure everyone has insurance and of course DUI’s.  So please make sure your licenses are up to date and you have the proper motorcycle classification.   Check your registration to see that your sticker is up to date.   And of course – make sure you have insurance and plenty of it.
